AC1900 wifi extender 2.4Ghz light not coming

I have been using my AC1900 EX7000 WiFi extender for the past 5 years with no problem. All of a sudden, it lost connection. I connected it again and the light that shows connectivity to the router is green which means its connected to the router but the 2.4Ghz or the 5Ghz light is not coming on. I did a reset and set it up again but to no avail. I did a WPS and a manual connectivity as well but to no avail.

Any ideas on what else to try? Is it that the product has run out of its life? Anybody else facing this
