AC2200 EX7300v2 loses configuration when gateway (roter) rebooted
Simple... periodically we need to reboot our gateway (router). When we do so, the extender loses its configuration. Gone. The NETGEAR_EXT wifi SSID shows up, and there we are... set up the extender all over again.
This is defective and potentiually a security issue. Anyone know the answer to this? It is a brand new unit. I am connecting to an XFINITY gateway. No issues with install other than hiccups typical to Netgear. i get all the way through and the device works for some time.
There is a sneaking suspicion in my mind that the Netgear is respinsible for needing th reboot of the gateway and that this consition is caused at the time that it loses information.
