AC2200 WiFi Mesh Extender EX7700 - how to reset login credentials to factory default
I bought this AC2200 WiFi Mesh Extender EX7700 on eBay, used, some while ago, but, after a house move, I am now trying to add it to my Nighthawk router but cannot log in to it as the factory reset does not reset the login credentials to factory default. After factory reset and entering the serial number of the unit, it then asks for your two memorable words, which the previous owner presumably set up and I have no way of knowing!
Is there a way to reset the login credentials to factory default so that I can then log in and configure it for my installation?

Re: AC2200 WiFi Mesh Extender EX7700 - how to reset login credentials to factory default
Hi @timsimon,
Thank you for reaching out. We are sorry to hear about your experience with the extender. Please try to reset the extender for a full minute. It is possible that it doesn't reset properly. By default, you should be seeing the default network name of NETGEAR_EXT.
