AC3000 Nighthawk X6S Extender: Power light turns from green to flashing red. All front flash white

i posted my power light issue on the AC3000 Extender two days ago. I tried resetting it to no avail..I also noticed that the green power light would stay on for 10 to 20 second then turn to flashing red. This issue troubled me so I kept it plugged in. I occasionally inspected the unit and I noticed that the green light would transition from flashing red to solid green for one to three minutes. Obviously this couldn't work so I ordered a different extender. The new one should arrive today. This morning my AC3000 held a solid green light. I plugged it out and repositioned it where it was before and the power light stayed green. Then I signed into Netgear and I had to set it up as a new unit. So far it has been working fine for about four hours. It appears that the unit (AC3000) reset itself after being plugged in tor two days.
