AC750 Wi-Fi range extender, using 2 of them at the same time??
Can 2 AC750's be used on the same home wi-fi network at the same time?
I have one in the kitchen but that one doesn't get to the other end of the house so I'm wondering if a second one could be used to pick up the signal from the first AC750 so I can get the whole house covered.
Thanks in advance.

Re: AC750 Wi-Fi range extender, using 2 of them at the same time??
It's not recommended to wirelessly connect one extender to another extender. The reason is that each extender imposes a 50% penalty in performance, so clients connecting to the second extender will see a 75% penalty. This will probably be unacceptable.
If you have coax outlets then consider using MoCA as a wired network and attach your extenders to it to operate as Access Points. Powerline is another option although results can be very hit and miss.

Thanks for the quick reply.
I don't have any coax to the other end of the house, not too sure if a line can be added.
What is a MoCA

Multimedia over Coax. It's a networking protocol for use over coax cable. If you don't have coax then don't bother. You would be better off installing Ethernet than coax.

Re: AC750 Wi-Fi range extender, using 2 of them at the same time??
OK thanks,
No coax or CAT5 to the other end of the house and no way to really get wiring there.
Last night I ordered another EX3700, should have it in a few days.
I would imagine I would need to change the SSID names to something different than the defaut names on the first unit?

Re: AC750 Wi-Fi range extender, using 2 of them at the same time??
There's no need to change the default names. The two extenders can even broadcast the same SSID.
What the extenders must avoid, however, is broadcasting the same SSID as the main router's SSID. Otherwise, they may connect to each other instead of the router.

OK, thanks again fo the info.
Yes, the SSID is different than what I'm using on the Xfinity box.
