About the EX8000 can not automatically reconnect the router.
When my router (R8000P)restarts, the first and second LEDs of the ex8000 are off, indicating that the connection to the router is disconnected. Waiting for about 10 minutes will not be able to reconnect. You must manually restart the EX8000. Is there a problem?

Hi @flashboy,
Welcome to the community!
1. What is the firmware version of the router and extender?
2. Did you set a static IP for the extender or have address reservation on the router?
3. Is the extender configured in extender mode or AP mode?
Regards,
Dexter

Dexter, hear you are again asking the same questions to everyone when you clearly know that you should be telling everyone to return the units and get their money back while they can.
I have the same problem and constant client wifi issues where I have to reboot extender every 1 hours or so since I first got the unit in April 2018 and been with Netgear tech and engineers (80+ hours and troubleshooting) and anything they've asked me to do as worked.. The latest firmware V1.0.1.186 doesn't solve any of these issues.
