About the external antennas
In which direction does the network expand - vertically in the direction in which an antenna points or perpendicular to its direction?

Re: About the external antennas
The antenna is what's known as a dipole - google it.
The radiation pattern is essentially circular around the antenna if you're looking at it "end on" and like two stacked "donuts" if you're looking at it from the side with the antenna pointing upwards.

Re: About the external antennas
So if I understand your response, with the antennas on an EX7000 aiming straight up, I will get better area coverage on the same floor as the extender?
