This is a pre-sale question.
I'm looking for a recommendation on a dual band (2.4Ghz / 5Ghz ) access point repeater or extender. I want to connect this new device to my existing router with a copper Ethernet cable. Then I would also like to have at least one. two prefferably RJ-45 Ethernet ports on this new device to plug into. I also want it to repeat my existing router's Wifi SSID, so I am able to use it as a wifi extender too.
I have considered the EX3700-100NAS product. Can someone help me out?
Rick

The EX3700 only has one ethernet port (which you are planning to connect to your router). So that won't meet your requirements. The EX6200, EX7000, EX7500, EX7700, and EX8000 would. https://www.netgear.com/home/products/networking/wifi-range-extenders/
All can operate as Access Points, and you can configure them all to match your existing network name and passphrase.
