Access Point WNDAP360 – solid yellow power test Led, won’t boot on power up.
WNDAP360 – solid yellow power/test LED, won’t boot on power up.
Web access not available and no response to factory reset
Connect to PC serial port and open putty. Can see bootscript attempting to boot on AP power up.
By interrupting the bootscript before it stalls/times out and then typing “run ap” the AP will boot with all LED’s green.
Web access to AP now available and able to upgrade firmware. BUT still will not boot/reboot without the above intervention
Diagnosis: the bootscript is corrupted/modified but is not reflashed as part of the firmware upgrade.
Question: How do I edit the bootscript or replace it? Please be as specific as possible. Many thanks.
