Access point up and running (no connection)
trying to setup my X6S as an access point instead as a wifi extender, which i had it set as before. I found it to not be so great for "extending" my network from the modem/router from downstair to up...
The "no connection" indication on the two access point radio is misleading. It just shows that there is no wireless client associated to these radios on oyur extender.

Where and how is the router connected in this picture? The switch must connect to one of the router LAN port:
Modem <-> (WAN/Internet) Router (LAN) <-> Switch <-> Extender <-> PC

This could indicate that the radio the PC is connected to has no appropriate connection to the router where the DHCP server would hand-out IP addresses, or there could be some MAC based security prohibiting the Internet access on the router.

You have only one network (LAN) - so one SSID is perfectly right - that's the intention of a Mesh system. The wireless client is able to identify the radio with the best connection, and gets informed about neighboring radios so that a portable wireless device can seamless change the radio - without manual intervention (disconnect, select other SSID) - and stay connected.
I have a modem/router(Wi-Fi), its a Netgear Gig gaming router/modem.
what do you mean it has no wireless client associated?
I understand why there are 3 netgear ext but only one broadcasting, but when i see the ssid on my wi-fi list it says it has no internet.
is it just piggybacking off my existing wifi ssid's?
