Authentification Error Occurred
My router is provided by Time Warner Cable.
Ubee / DVW3201B
Security is WPA/WPA2 PSK
The range extender I bought is WN2000RPTv2
It's purpose is to connect my mother's Acer One tablet in her distant bedroom.
I used the second version of the setup instructions, since there is no WPS. Since we don't have a wireless computer right now, I configured it using my phone.
This seemed to have worked, but when I connect the tablet I get "Authentication Error Occurred".
Same error when I connect to the theoretically configured extender with my phone.
The password is correct. What is happening?
I have no control whatsoever over the Time Warner cable modem.
I can call them, but I don't know what they can change on their end to make it compatible with this range extender.
What can I do?

Re: Authentification Error Occurred
Use PC to configure directly per in the manual
Connecting using exiting wireless network with WPA/WPA2 should work
Make sure extender is not located where you had signal issues
Extender needs to overlap the main wireless so it will be closer to main router to overlap and broadcast
