C6300 connection issues with Samsung Galaxy S4

I own a WN3500RP range extender. I used it mainly while traveling to extend the hotel wifi signal. Once it is setup I have no problem connecting my laptop or cellphone to the extender. The security I use

For the first time I installed in my appartment. I configured both 2.4GHz and 5GHz network with WPA2-PSK security. I can connect with my laptop but my cellphone won't. When I select the network nothing happens and it says saved and secured. My cellphone will connect to my main router network without any issues. The main router networks are setup using the same security.

I googled a lot to find different solutions such as:

1- Use static IP (did not work)

2- Use TKIP security (that work but speed is slow)

3- Forget network and reconfigure (did not work)

4- WPS push (not sure if this can work with this extender)

...

Anyone have ever encountered this type of issue? My phone is a Galaxy S4.

Thanks!

    Hello rocketford,

Have you tried factory resetting the extender and going through the setup again? If not, please give that a go and let us know the outcome.

      Thank you for the answer.

Yes I did reset my range extender.

Note: I made a mistake in the model number. My range extender is an WN3500RP and not a C6300.
