C7000v2 Modem-Router w/ EAX20 Mesh Extender
HI. We need to extend our WiFi coverage through out our house. We already have the C7000v2 Modem-Router. We are hoping to be able to use one network and PW for the entire house.
I was wondering if the EAX20 Mesh Extender would work with the C7000v2 Modem-Router and is it a viable option? Or is their a better solution that works with the C7000v2 Modem-Router that could still provide one network and PW?
Thank you for your help

How big is the home?
I'd be looking at the line of triband AC extenders versus going with a AX extender. They'll actually be faster because of their dedicated backhaul.

House is ~2200sqft but it's very old. Who knows whats in the walls.
The modem-router sits in one room in the front of the house (only location possible). We have 250mbps cable internet. On 5ghz in the room I get aprox 160mbps. In a back room that drops to 90mbps. Upstairs office (farthest room from modem-router) has a AC1200 extender (different netwrok and PW) and I get 35mbps on 5ghz.
My hope is to get a more consitant speed and only one network connection.

A single triband might help. but moving to a full triband like orbi might be a better option if you're needing multiple extenders.
