CG3300D – Wireless-N Cable Gateway DOCSIS 3.0 / EuroDOCSIS 3.0
Hello, I am having trouble looking for a wife extender that would work for my router. I am unsure of what I have is even a router so I do not know what to look for. There are places in the house where there is not internet and it does not reach my ring doorbell. I was wondering if anyone knows of WiFi extenders that are compatible with what I have. It is a CG3300D – Wireless-N Cable Gateway DOCSIS 3.0 / EuroDOCSIS 3.0. Thank you!

A couple questions/thoughts.
The CG3300D isnt' the highest performing device. Its a pretty basic N300 device. You're not going to see great speeds/performance from the wireless. Maybe instead of an extender, upgrading the modem/router or even adding a solid access point to the router might be a better option?
What size is the home?
What is it made of for materials (interior)? certain materials block wifi very well.
If you just want a basic extender, any of the N300 extenders should work with it just fine.
