Can I send in my RBD50Y for servive

It now longer connects to the home mesh. Can I send it in for service?

Is it under warranty?

What actually happens when you try to connect it?

what are the led's on it doing?

What have you done to try to resolve the issue?

Re: Can I send in my RBD50Y for servive

No, long past. Purchased in 2019

Never get to that point. On power up, right next to the router, it takes about 5 minutes to boot up then I get the magenta light before I even get to sync.  The router is an older RBR40 and the two other satellites are RBR20s and that setup is working fine.

Boot up is the flashing while light, for the 5 minutes, then solid magenta.

Just following the manual as carefully as I can. Did ensure it was in the Orbi mode but not sure what other troubleshooting there is left.

are you able to connect to the satellites wifi (should be on a different ssid if factory reset)?

If so, try accessing it at 192.168.1.250

Re: Can I send in my RBD50Y for servive

You've lost me there. My RBR40 is ethernet connected to my ATT modem/router and the Orbi network is a different SSID from the ATT. I'm just trying to (re) add the RBD to the current Orbi network with the above mentioned errors.

No sure what you mean by the satellites wifi. I can use my Orbi app to connect to the RBR40 and it shows it functioning with my three other RBR20s also functioning.

I tried accessing 192.168.1.250 on my browser, Edge, but it won't connect.

Att tends to give users modem/router combo devices that cause double nats.

do you have your att device in passthrough mode.

Or the orbi in access point mode?
