Can I set a Netgear Prosafe WG103 AP as repeatear for my house router?
Hi everyone, I would like to extend the signal of my home router and I was wondering if I could use the Netgear Prosaf WG103 Access Point as a repeater, as in:
wifi wifi
INTERNET______router----------WG103---------wifi devices
or will I need another WG103 to let the two work in bridge?
I tried the wireless point to point bridge using the router MAC address but with no luck, what am I doing wrong?
Thanks in advance!
Alex

most repeat will end up in WEP /no encryption so use extender instead. ex. wn2500rp

You mean in the options or that the access point is not suitable for the configuration I would like to install?
