Can I use a Nighthawk EX7300 range extender with a Nighthawk R7000 Router?
Hey guys,
My R7000 Router is a few years old, but seems like a rather legit one.
I would like to extend the range of the my wifi, and the EX7300 seems like it would make it seamless.
Is this a good choice for range extension?
Can I use 2 or more of these extenders without any issues?
(I am in a rural place with slow wifi, so speed is not a concern, just seamless extendability is what I am looking for.
Thanks!!!!

Re: Can I use a Nighthawk EX7300 range extender with a Nighthawk R7000 Router?
The EX7300 is a pretty solid extender.
the only thing I would caution against is using them daisy chained.
Daisy chained: router----->extender------->extender
I'd use a star configuration.
Star: extender<-------router------->extender
I usually recommend people move to an actual mesh system when they're needing more than 1 extender. It tends to be more stable, faster (not a huge concern to you evidently), and work better because they have something controlling the system. Versus mesh extenders don't and can end up connecting to each other and not back to the router. It doesn't happen often but if you're situation causes it, then you can either name one of the extenders with its own unique ssid or play with broadcast power settings.
