Can no longer connect to 5G network after firmware upgrade

I upgraded my Nighthawk X6 AC3200 to the latest firmware version: V1.0.4.28_10.1.54
Now I can no longer connect to my 5GEXT network.
My laptop doesn't even show the network any longer.
On my smartphone it says "Failed to obtain IP Address"
I Enabled Smart Connect then restarted the modem, router, and extender.
The result is the same.
How can this be fixed?
Thank yo

Have you tried to disable smart connect and rename the 5ghz network and see if the network shows back up?

Re: Can no longer connect to 5G network after firmware upgrade
It took a couple of reboots of the extender, but renaming the networks appears to have worked.
Thanks
