Re: Can't Convert EX8000 from Wireless Mesh to Wired Access Point?

I have been using my EX8000 successfully as a wireless mesh extender. But now I want to convert it to a wired access point.
The documentation that came with the extender implies that setting it up as a wired access point is only possible if the EX8000 has not already been set up as a wireless entender?
Is that true? How can I change it? Is a factory reset necessary?
Thanks in advance.

anytime you change from extender mode to AP mode, I'd recommend factory resetting it. prevents settings from being carried over that cause issues. Its also a good time to make sure your firmware is current as resetting after a firmware update is a good thing to do.

Resetting the extender and starting over with setup solved all my ills.
Thank you.
