Can't Upgrade Firmware For WN3000RP V1H2

This is absurd!
Speed test shows 64 ms ping, .66 down, and .05 up.
Unplugging the "booster" gave us 68 ms ping, .68 up, and.24 up!
Wow, such a huge improvement!
Ten minutes later, the godamn thing shows 31 ping, 10.89 down, and 4.28 up ...
Then, we unplugged the "booster" again and got 31 ping, 12.69 down, and 4.44 up.
One room away, without the booster being plugged in, a laptop is pulling 20 mbps downloads!
Makes no sense at all.

Were you ever able to upgrade the firmware? Also when connected to the extender you are going to get slower wifi speeds because it is a half duplex device it will half your speed when connected to the extender so you will want to connect to the routers wifi when possible also make sure the extender and the router have different SSIDs so confusion will not happen.
