Can you mix AC1750 WiFi Mesh Extender with powerline devices

Can a AC1750 WiFi Mesh Extender be used on a home network that also uses Powerline 200 and Powerline 500 devices?

AC1750 is not a model#, EX#### is.

If the extender has LAN ports, it's possible that I can work in wired AP mode with a PL system.

If you have a extender, Netgear has set up a community forum specifically for the WiFi Extender products. Most of the people who watch that forum are more likely to have experience with WiFi Extender products and know how to work it better than those of us who follow this router forum. Might be more likely to find someone who has a solution if the question is posted there:

Yes you can use powerline devices and extenders in the same network. Like @FURRYe38 says though, actual models help more than the speed ratings.

How are you planning on setting up the system?

If the idea is to use whatever device you are talking about in access point (AP) mode on a powerline network, then it will be fine. I have an Orbi router in AP mode on Powerline.

The only device in the Netgear armoury that seems to follow the AC1750 wifi standard and work as a Mesh device is the EX6250.

This does have the ability to work as a WiFi access point.

Visit the support pages:

Support | NETGEAR

Feed in your model number and check the documentation for your hardware.

Check the section in the manual Install your extender in access point mode.

You may have done that already. I can't tell from your message.

I mention it because Netgear gave up on supplying paper manuals and CD versions some years ago and people sometimes miss the downloads.
