My unit is the EX8000 NIGHTHAWK X6S AC3000 WiFi Range Extender [- NOT the ones stated in the header -]
This site must be defective because that unit is [NOT] in the drop-down menu of products !!
I cannot get this unit to configure either wirelessly or using a direct Ethernet connection to my NetGear Nighthawk wireless home router. I cannot even get logged on to mywifiext.net or use the 192.168.1.250 address in a browser to get to the setup site. I've even been online with char rep for about an hour troubleshooting when they had to log off at end of a workday. I've obviously already worked thru or tried all written instructions found on other help sites (WPS, Netgear Genie, reset button . . . you name it - I've tried it).
The only logical next step(s) (in my mind), is to somwehow get this thing back into original factory state. But I've not been able to discover a way to accomplish that. I'm about ready to throw this thing into a fire and find another cmpeting product, and chalk this up as a BAD experience.
Any suggestions appreciated (for about another week maybe). Thanks.
Bob L.

To factory reset the unit you will need to hold the reset button for 10+ seconds then you may need to give the unit 5 to 10 minutes I had a similar issue as you did when setting up the unit took a little more time after the factory reset but if you are still not able to connect after the reset I can get you to support.
