Cannot Connect to WiFi

Hi, 

I have been trying to tinker around and make this machine work so that my family in the dead zone can have access to the Internet.

I followed the instructions and went to mywifiext.net connected with my WiFi and hoped it would work. 

It didn't.

I factory resetted it looked for help online.

I tried other advices like connecting it with the ethernet port and changing the SSID name to something different and to no avail....

I am using Verizon Fios and am using the Fios G1100 modem.

SOS.

P.S. Unplugging the extender or Factory resetting with a pencil, paper clip does not help since I have done that plenty of times.

Hello kosungwon

I have read in another thread that people with FIOS sometimes have to call verizon and have them add the mac address of the extender to your account so the modem will work with it. You may want to look and see if that is what is needed.
