Cannot connect extender
Hi,
I have just received mynew EX7500 Extender, and cannot connect to my router. Tried 5 times, no luck. The extender is 2 feet from the router. WPS on the router and extender both just flash then go off. My router is a Virgin Super Hub 3.0,and gives off a strong signal, but I want to extend it a bit down the garden where I've had a studio built for my wife.

Try using the smart connection wizard instead of wps. not all manufacturer's code wps the same. When wps doesn't work, smart connect tends to work
here's where you can get the guide.

Hi,
I think I've found the problem, but now need to workout/decide what to do about it. The Netgear will not connect to WPA or WPA2. If I have this security it says to change the settings. My router has WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK. The options on the drop down menu are WPA2-PSK and Disabled. If I disable I am leaving myself open to alland sundry possibly getting into my system. So, it's decision time. I've got onto Virgin to see what they have got to say.
