Hi everyone, I recently bought an A7000 USB adapter. That's a great product.
However, I spotted that on the wifi channel number "1" of my router, the connection is really bad. Whereas on other channels like "52.56.60.64." I have a better connection. Do you know a mean to forbid to my USB adapter to use the wifi channel number "1" or to define a specific channel.
Thanks for your attention, sorry for my bad english ^^

channel 1 is 2.4ghz while the higher channels are 5ghz. 5ghz has much higher throughput than 2.4ghz channels. It just doesn't penetrate objects as well or transmit as far.
to "forbid it" connecting to channels 1, just seperate out your 2.4ghz and 5ghz ssid's on your router. Then forget the 2.4ghz network and soley connect to the 5ghz.
Also, your posting in the range extender forum and not the wifi adapter forum.
