Changing SSDI name and password on router - how does the affect range extender

Hi, i've had my Wifi range extender working perfectly, but recently had issues with my router. I changed the SSID and password on that. Do i now have to reset my range extender ?

You have to adjust the settings on the range extender to connect to the new SSID using the new password.
