Changing channel on EX2700 Extender
I'm trying to change the channel on my EX2700 extender, but the option is grayed out.
My primary router is already on channel 6 so I want to move this to 1 or 11. Is there a way to enable this?
Thanks!

Re: Changing channel on EX2700 Extender
Most "extenders" actually function as repeaters - ie. they connect to the source (in this case your router) via wireless - if this is what you're doing, then you cannot change the extender channel - it MUST receive on the same channel that the router is on.
Some newer dual band extenders allow one band to be used for the link to the router, Netgear calls this "fast link"

Thanks! That's probably the case here then.
