Connect NetGear D6220 with Fritzbox 7590
Hello,
Is there anyway to use the D6220 (which is the actualy model, the model drop box didnt have this option) as a Mesh repeater and connect it to my FritzBox 7590? I tried all morning and watched a bunch of videos on youtube but couldnt find anyone with the exact link between these two companies... my internet provider is with 2Degrees in NZ and they supplied me with the Fritzbox 7590 modem router, Im trying to use a 2nd modem I have as a Mesh reapeter (the NetGear AC1200 D6220) with no Luck...
Even when I use the FrtizBox as Mesh repeater I cant connect to the NetGear (the NetGear is greyed out) - probably uses a different protocol not sure...
I was able to use the FritzBox as a mesh repeater to get wifi from my nice neighboors untill we got our internet installed, but IDK what router they have to make it succesful.
Would love to get some community feedback.
Cheers.
