Connect to WPS

I am unable to get past item 4 "Find the extender network name". The names shown in my network utility (Mac Preferences) are NETGEAR06-5G_2GEXT and NETGEAR06-5G_5GEXT, but a password is required to connect. I have no password.

Re: Connect to WPS

Thank you so much, nhann.  The reset was all that was needed, apparently.  My extender is now set up and works fine.

Re: Connect to WPS

Which Extender are you reffering to?  Did you try the WPA2 password you use on your Base Station Router?

Re: Connect to WPS

My extender is the EX6100.  I used as password the one I use for my router (which is a Netgear CG3100D).  I also tried the pin stamped on the outside of the 6100.  No luck!  Such is life!

Re: Connect to WPS

Hi Rosso78,

Please try resetting your Extender to factory default.

Here is a topic that discussed a similar issue:
