Connecting to my N300 extender
I have changed router and am attempting to reconnect my extender without success. I have a desktop computer that the router is connected to with an ethernet cable. I want to connect the extender to my surface pro.
As part of the attempts to connect I reset the extender to factory standard and it now sees my router however I can't connect the surface pro to it. It can see the router but can't connect
I have connected the router to the extender with an ethernet cable. I can't connect the Surface Pro to the extender as it does not have an internet port
It asks for the network security key I have tried the 20 letter router WLAN, the SSID code, the router passord and the Extender PIN. Connection fauils in every case. I have tried logging into www.mywifiext.net, no connection, I have entered the IP address, it times out. I have cleared by brower history. What to I do next?

Re: Connecting to my N300 extender
Hello judyw,
Factory reset the extender again by pressing on the small black button using a pin for 15+ seconds and join the NETGEAR_EXT wifi network. After you connect to it, browse to www.mywifiext.net and follow the setup instructions.
