Connection between Extender og Router

This concerns Range Extender WN3000RP. There is a connection between PC and Extender, but not between Extender and Router. I have tried turning off and on the Router, likewise with the Extender and i tried factory reset. No result! What can I possibly do? The connection between PC and Extender seems to be open what never happened before.

Now, the problem is solved by going back to basics according to the manual. However it is quite normal that the extender loses connection with the router. Then I turn the Extender off, and a little later, on again and it works for some time again. The realities of my house are, that there is a distance of 5 meters around corners between router and extender.

I'm having the same issue, extender will not reconnect to router, other devices will connect to router, devices are connecting to extender.  Extender was connected and now is not.

1. What is the model number and firmware version of the extender?

2. Have you tried resetting the extender?

3. What is the status of the extender's LED's?

I reset to factory, per Netgear Team member and followed all of her directions, and currently only power light is on.  All of my devices are seeing/connecting to router except for the extender.  Devices see and will connect to the extender.  Router and extender are 6 inches apart.  Again, extender was working completely perfect a week ago 20 feet away in another room.

Hi @Bigmemz,

 

Please make sure you go through the setup procedure after the reset. You can do it manually to make sure that it connects to the main router's network and use the correct password. This link may help out.

Thank you, after multiple reboot attempts, I gave up and left it unplugged for days. Then tried one last time before repackagei g to return it, and it connected to router. ? So far, connected for 3 days.
