I have two EX8000 range extenders. One appears to be working fine but the other one is frequently rebooting itself. The extender that is rebooting itself is basically in-line-of-sight with my router ...
If you disable the one with issues "one wifi" feature and set it with its own ssid, does it stay stable?
I essentially did that by powering down the other EX8000 but to avail.
Now the only light on the extender is the green power light on the back. This has happened at least twice.
Because I am having this problem, I went to register the extender with Netgear and was informed that the extender was already registered to another customer, i.e., it was not new when I received it.
I am now working with newegg to exchange it for a new extender.
