Customised 5GHz SSID
Hey All.
Just wondering if anyone can explain or understand this issue.
I have the main SSID for the house (that operates both the 2.4GHz and 5GHz spectrums).
I decided to get certain devices dedicated to a spectrum so created the customised spectrum SSIDs (which I believe are totally separate).
The 2.4GHz I have not seen any issues with.
However, the 5GHz one has bizarre issues. Some devices can connect to this network, others cannot and after resetting the router and satellite, now NOTHING can connect to that customised 5GHz SSID.
Interested if this is a bug, if I am doing something wrong, or perhaps under the surface devices are getting confused between the SSIDs (eg, if this is a 5GHz channel issue, irrespective of the SSID).
Many thanks
Ben

Re: Customised 5GHz SSID
....apologies I just noticed that my cell phone is connected to that customised 5Ghz network.......but now no other devices other than this can connect.
It is extremely bizarre.....but there has to be something going on to allow "some devices" through to it and not allow all others (even ones that could connect before bouncing the Mesh nodes).
BTW........all devices can connect back to the original main SSID for the device.
