J'ai fait l'aquisition d'un répétiteur wifi EX8000 pour étendre mon wifi, il est connecté en wifi sur la box fibre (2.4Ghz CH1 300Mbps et 5Ghz CH108 975Mbps) et libère une connection en 2.4Ghz CH1 jusqu'à 400Mbps et en 5Ghz CH36 jusqu'à 866.7Mbps.
La version du firmware est le V1.0.1.224.
La box est dans le salon et le répétiteur est à l'étage dans la chambre, quand je fais un test avec le portable avec l'application Netgear les débits sont pour moi assez lent (environ 165Mbps en download et 175Mbps en upload).
D'après vous les débits sont-ils normaux ?

2 things to check since the router is the backbone of the system.
1. take your cell phone to where the extender is located and shut off the extender (ensures you're connected directly to router) and speedtest right there. What speeds do you get? The extender has to run off the signal from the router and its if the connection is poor, it'll be poor for the phone and the extender.
2. hardwire a pc/laptop into the extender and speedtest it over the wired connection. This tests the backhaul

J'ai connecter un pc sur le répétiteur avec un cable etthernet et j'ai tester le débit et ils sont similaires aux débits de la box (environ 500Mbps en download et 300Mbps) donc le backhaul est normal.
J'ai déplacer le répétiteur et je l'ai mis à côté de la box puis tester le débit avec un téléphone avec l'application Netgear mais les débits restent inchangés et restent toujours à 160Mbps en download et 170Mbps en upload.
On dirait que quelque chose bride les débits en wifi...

What does your phone get testing off the router? If its only a 1x1 antenna solution, its not going to have the speeds to max out the extender.
the EX8000 uses a 4x4 antenna setup for connection back to the router (if the router is 4x4). This is a wider backhaul then the fronthaul (connection that devices connect to). For the EX8000, its front haul is only a 2x2 connection. So its connection to the router is faster than the connection it can broadcast to devices. This allows it to run the ethernet, 2.4ghz, and 5ghz off that 1 connection back to the router.
