EAX15 Doesn't broadcast SSID, wont start up - seems bricked
I was trying to set up an EAX15 as an access point but I cannot seem to do anything with it. It was never set up before, this was the first time setting it up and it is stuck with a solid amber light. There is no SSID being broadcast and the ethernet lights do not light up when I plug it into my router. It seems to be bricked, unfortunately. I attempted to put the latest firmware on the device using these steps https://kb.netgear.com/000059634/How-do-I-upload-firmware-to-my-NETGEAR-router-using-TFTP-from-the-M...
but that doesn't work, it says it cannot read the filename or something like that. Basically I am completely stuck and cannot figure out what to do with this thing. Factory reset does not work. Any suggestions ?

Is it a new purchase? You can go through support:
To get a hold of support. Click on "MyNetgear" at the top.
Register an account (or login) and then the device.
From there you can start the support process. Keep in mind that its only free for the first 90 days.
If it is corrupt, tftp is sensitive to timings. I'd try it a few times.
are you on windows? if so, follow this guide
https://kb.netgear.com/000059634/How-to-upload-firmware-to-a-NETGEAR-router-using-Windows-TFTP
just make sure you enable tftp
https://www.thewindowsclub.com/enable-tftp-windows-10
and here's a video walk through using a tftp client. Use the built in one for windows 10 though. the video is more of an example of how its done.

and if that doesn't work, you can try using nmrpflash
