EX2700 Does not broadcast SSID
My EX2700 was working fine. Then I got a new wireless router and tried to set up the extender again. However, none of the three devices in our home "see" the extender. NETGEAR_EXT does not show up as a device to connect to. My laptop has no ethernet jack so I cannot make a hardwired connection (and the other two devices are phones). I have tried a factory reset, but that changes nothing. The Power and WPS lights are green.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

What router are you trying to connect it to?
are you setting up the extender via wps or the installation wizard?
did you factory reset the extender to re-run setup?

Re: EX2700 Does not broadcast SSID
Thank you for your reply. I did indeed press the reset button on the device.
My router is a Linksys EA7300, but I haven't reached the step of trying to connect to it because I cannot connect to the device (the extender) itself. I was trying to use the wizard, but could not proceed because the extender does not broadcast the SSID.

Re: EX2700 Does not broadcast SSID
1. When many hit the reset they don't hold it. While its powered on, push and hold for 7-15 seconds.
2. What are the led's on it doing? (all of them, color/blinking/etc)
3. You can buy a cheap usb----ethernet adapter. Always handy to have around
4. or borrow a computer to connect.
