EX2700 unable to connect
I have a Netgear EX2700 that used to work great. I have an Amazon device at the far end of the house and relocated the extender to that end. I am unable to get any device to connect wirelessly to the extender now.
I plugged the extender into a power outlet in the same room as my router and used the WPS buttons to have it connect. All of the lights are showing green, but I am unable to connect to it with a browser on my ethernet connected desktop or my cell phone. I did a factory reset and then pressed the WPS buttons and it looks like it connected to my router again as all lights are solid green again.
But, I am unable to connect to the extender with any device. Another weird issue is that the MAC address on the device does not exactly show on my router logins. It is off by 1 letter.
Thanks

Good move to do it in the same room. Set up the extender and then move it.
What is the router? Did you tell it to forget the extender's earlier connection?
Can you get it to work without using WPS?

These things can create more than one MAC address, for different wifi connections.

When you do get it to work, a better location might be in the middle of the gap between the router and the Amazon device.
While many questions about routers are generic and could be answered anywhere, some things need specialist knowledge.
You might get more help, and find earlier questions and answers specific to your device, in the appropriate section for your hardware. That's probably here:
