My router password is not working for extender password can anyone help please I’m not very tech wise

Did you set it up using wps or using the installation wizard? 

Wps doesn't always work well between device manufacturers. If thats what you used, I'd factory reset the extender (push and hold reset for 7-15 seconds while powered on) and then reinstall using the installation assistant.
