I want to connect my Netgear EX2700 extender to my router but i don't want to have to reconnect or automatically connect to the additional wifi extension, i want it included into my router to actually extend the wifi and not have the ????_ext.
I also have a TP link WA850RE extender which i have set up and built into my router to extend the wifi without the additional _ext connection.
Does anyone know how to set up the EX2700 in the same way ?

The EX2700 is a base model extender. Its not a mesh model with the "onessid" function of the higher end models.
You can always manually set it with the same ssid as your router but your devices can tend to be "sticky" and not want to roam like a mesh device does.
