EX3700 WLAN extender not working

Hi,

I was able to set up the extender as a repeater connecting to my original router.

When i log in to the exended network though, the menu opens again and tells me that i created an acess point but there is no internet connection.

Any idea whats the problem here?

What router are you connected to? 

What firmware is on the extender? 

Is it functioning properly?

Did you set it up via wps/or smart connect?

its a HUAWEI Echolife HG8245H  Router

i just unpacked the extender and connected it via the website

, i did not do any updates on the firmware, where can i do that?

What channel is the Huawei on for 2.4ghz? Try 1-6-11

What region is it set it?

How about the netgear region?
