Same problem. I can't connect to any extended network. When I try to connect, I get a pop up asking for a security code. The EX700 has the router security code because <I think, it uses it in generating the Extended networks. It doesn't appear able to use the code when I try to connect.
Been working on this problem for 3 months now. Had professional help and was able to connect until I shut down the computer. On boot up the following day the same problem appeared. Could the extender be defective?
