EX6000 can't connect to rooter @ 5ghz
Hi
The ex6000 won't connect to my BT router at 5ghz.
Everything else is ok:
2.4ghz works
5ghz is broadcast by extender
I followed smart set up twice.
The router password for 5ghz has been double checked ( same as 2.4ghz).
Other devices can connect to the router at 5ghz - all except the ex6000.
Highly frustrating.
Please help.

Hello Paul_Duce
Try to change the wireless channel and make sure the wireless security is set to WPA2.

Re: EX6000 can't connect to rooter @ 5ghz
Hi
Thanks. I changed the channel on the router. Although it wasn't on a channel that was out of range for the extender. This worked for 5ghz but now the 2.4ghz isn't working. It's either one or the other but not both.
I'm dissatisfied on this point of only one channel working back to the router. I've spent hours trying to get it to work. And that the channel range is limited at 5ghz compared to the router. Which means I shouldn't use auto channel select on the router just in case it goes out of band for the extender.
I'll reset the router and smart configure before I decide to return it.
Not impressed!
