EX6100 - cannot connect after installing a new router

My extender worked well with old router.  Now installed new router,  performed factory reset (more than 10 secs) and tried to connect using WPS first, then manually with genie.  WPS didn't connect,  and cannot get to genie login on computer - as soon as I connect to either EX6100_NETGEAR_2GEXT or 5GEXT,  then it disconnects the main router, thus preventing link to genie. If I don't connect device,  then genie comes up saying extender not connected to network - going in circles!  I am using Win 10 device.  Any ideas?

I would make sure you have the extender up to date on the latest firmware and then try to factory reset again. Then try to setup the extender again.
