EX6120 Wifi Extender does not see my network

I just bought an EX6120 wifi extender. When I try to set it up, it finds about 40 wifi networks of all my neighbours, but it doesn't see my own network.

All laptop, tablets and phones in my home see the netwerk perfectly (it's not hidden), but the EX6120 doesn't.

There is one very strong network visible, but the SSID is not the one of my network. Instead, it is displayed as "0x467265656BC2A06279C". I can't connect to that network, but when I switch off my router, this network disappears, so it must be my network.

My router is a Netgear WAX214v2.

Does anybody know why the extender doesn't list my SSID, but this strange code instead?

And, more importantly, how this can be solved?

This could be related to a problem a community member discovered on the WAX214v2, v1.0.2.3 firmware under certain conditions. Look -> here
