EX6120 disconnects every hour
Hey All,
looking for some insight as to why my Wifi Extender keeps losing connection every hour.
I am at the point that I rather throw it against a wall than keep dealing with the loss of connection.
Context:
My modem is on the second floor of my house and the extender is about 20 ft away from the router. The dead spot is on the first floor just below where the extender is set up. When I am on my laptop I notice my wifi will just cut out every hour and then reconnect within 30 seconds. This happens often and is frustrating when I am on a zoom call.
The extender is updated with the latest firmware,
I have done factory resets and have set it up properly.
There is about 2 other computers accessing the extender at a time.
Any insight will be appreciated, I am at my wits end with this extender and I want to resolve this before I purcahse a different Wifi extender.

Try setting a static ip address in the router for the extender.
I'd also check into your router and how long its ip lease times are. If the router is releasing/reconnecting it would cause that same issue.
Did you set up the extender using wps or using the installation wizard? If you used wps, try re-running the setup using the installation wizard. not all manufacturer's code wps the same.
what router is it connected to?
