EX6150v2- Need help getting best connectivity
I have the EX6150v2 extender, and while it is working, I don't feel like the link rate (speeds) I am getting are as good as they should be. When I go into the Netgear Genie and look at the wireless page, it shows that the 5g wifi speed is up to 866.7 Mbps, but when I go to the connected devices page, the link rates are much lower (14-50 Mbps). It also shows that the signal strenths are in the range of -65dbm to -71dbm. Are these good signal strengths, and if not, what can I do to improve them?
I have tried moving the extender to different locations; it always gets green lights for both the Router link and Client Link are green. I don't think I can improve either of those, or can I?
I haven't tried messing with the antennas, although I'm guessing that adjusting them makes a difference, but I can't find any info on which orientations of the antennas are best.
Any help would be greatly appreciated
