I have two computers attached to the EX6200 (ver 1) by Ethernet. From time to time, one or the other of the Ethernet connections will die. When this happens, the WiFi ALWAYS continues to work, and usually one port goes out at a time. Changing the cables to a different port (or ports) doesn't seem to make a difference; the issue isn't port specific (even though it will inexplicably affect only one of the attached computers at a time).
The only solution I have found is to reboot the EX6200, but that is becoming really annoying.
Of the two connected computers, one has WiFi, and I can reliably use that. I'm in the process of acquiring WiFi for the other (solely because this problem has become so frequent (at least 5x today; it historically hasn't been that frequent).
I definitely prefer the Ethernet connection, however, as file transfers (between computers) are SO much faster.
