EX6200 - using same SSID
I'm curious.
Right now I have the SSID on my R8500 router something like "SSID 2.4" and on the EX7300 extender as "SSID 2.4 EXT".
Any problems if I make these the same name (and same password)? Just thinking it'd be easier for the family not to select back and forth depending on where they are.
I assume that if I did that, then devices can roam back and forth?
Thanks!

Hello DrGerm
You technically can name them the same but it could cause problems but to answer your question devices will not automatically switch to the strongest signal when moving around. If you are look for a product that can do that you may want to look at Orbi.
