EX6400 setup password error?

I have two networks (Main and Guest). I've used my extender for quite a while, extending the Guest network but decided to reset the extender and have it extend the Main network.

After a reset the extender scanned and found my Main network, I put in the password but it says..."The password can only be fit the value between 8-63 ASCII characters or 64 bit hexdigits"    WHAT???

I'm only using 26 characters. If I start over and pick the Guest network (it has a longer password) it completes without problem.

Any ideas what is going on?.

Re: EX6400 setup password error?

are you using any special characters or spaces?

Avoid them if you do.

Re: EX6400 setup password error?

Well that sucks. Yes I've included symbols.

I have over 30 wifi devices that are programed to my Main network.
I'm not about to change the Main network's password just so NetGear Extender will like it.
Too bad.
Thanks for the help.
