EX6400v2 Booting
My extender will not boot up past: Amber, Blue, Blue, Amber; then power is Amber and WPS is green. Will not change, will not reset, will not let me connect local or ethernet.. What can I do? Expert tech support from Netgear is 48$ for three months.. The whole product is only 90$.. I do not understand why they will not stand behind their product and provide tech support.. what a world we live in... if anyone knows of a solution that doesn't cost me money, I'd greatly appreciate it..

just listing off colors doesn't help.
Which led is which color? Be specific
How long have you owned it? netgear has 90 days of free support from date of purchase and most places have a 1 year (2 in some regions) warranty if it was purchased new.
Also, how did you try to contact support? many google for a number and get scam/con sites.
to contact support you click "mynetgear" at the top. register an account and then the device. From there you can contact support.
When you're resetting, are you pushing and holding reset for 7-15 seconds while powered on? What happens when you do this?

Router Link LED: Amber
Router Arrow LED: Blue
Client Arrow LED: Blue
Client Link LED: Amber
Power LED: Amber
WPS LED: Green
My one year warranty expired in April. Device is registered.
I spoke with Netgear Support and they instructed me to power off all devices for 2-5 minutes then hold reset on extender for 90 seconds. I have done this repeatedly with no success. Same LED's as listed above all come on immediately after powering on and do not change or flash when attempting to reset.
Any and all help is appreciated!
- plemansGuru - Experienced UserYou might try recovering it via tftp.
are you on windows? if so, follow this guide
https://kb.netgear.com/000059634/How-to-upload-firmware-to-a-NETGEAR-router-using-Windows-TFTP
just make sure you enable tftp

and here's a video walk through.

and if that doesn't work, you can try using nmrpflash
